Vicinity of Zbożenna Manor

The vicinity of the Zbożenna Manor abounds in many interesting places both in terms of nature, architecture, and history.

We would like to introduce you to some of them.

Przysucha
Przysucha
A picturesque town located in the southern part of the Mazovian Voivodeship with an unusual and unique urban layout. Przysucha has three market squares: Polish, German, and Jewish. In 1710, Antoni Czermiński founded an industrial settlement for German craftsmen. In 1745, a Polish district called Urszulin was established. The town became an important center of metallurgical and armaments industry. When walking around the town, it is worth visiting the Oskar Kolberg Museum, the Parish Church, and the Synagogue from the late 17th century. On the market square, you can also relax at the monument – “Kolberg’s Bench.”

Dwór Dembińskich
Dembiński Manor
Located in a picturesque park designed in 1900 by Teodor Chrząński. Built in the second half of the 19th century by Juliusz Dembiński. Until 1945, it was owned by the Dembiński family. For a short period, the famous artist Loda Halama lived here.

Muzeum Oskara Kolberga

Located in the former Dembiński Manor. It houses collections related to Oskar Kolberg – an ethnographer from Przysucha, as well as the history of the town itself. The museum organizes numerous temporary exhibitions and educational programs.

Kościół Parafialny
Parish Church
Church of St. John Nepomucene and St. Ignatius Loyola. Built between 1780-86 in neoclassical style, founded by Ursula Dembińska. Noteworthy is the interesting altar in the form of a rotunda with columns supporting the dome.

Synagoga
Synagogue
Once one of the most magnificent Jewish temples in central Poland. Przysucha in the 19th century was a renowned center of Hasidism. Despite war damages, the interior layout, the bimah, and the so-called kuna – a tool of ancient punishments – have been preserved to this day.

Skałki Przysuskie
Przysucha Rocks
A picturesque spot within the Przysucha Forest District. It is a 15-meter high sandstone wall, ideal for walks, bike trips, Nordic walking, or cross-country skiing. Benches and campfire spots have been arranged there.

Rawicz
Rawicz Educational Trail
Prepared by the Przysucha Forest District, it allows you to learn about forest management and the history of the region. It leads among others to Grodzka Hill and the “Mysterious Stones” – an ancient solar sanctuary from the 7th century.

Krakowa Góra
Krakowa Góra
A hill offering a beautiful view, compared by Kazimierz the Great to the view from Wawel Castle. At the summit, there is a chapel from 1933 commemorating the victory at Vienna.

Topornia
Topornia Reservoir
A reservoir on the Radomka River surrounded by a forest reserve. An ideal place for active leisure – kayaking, pedal boats, sports fields, playgrounds, and a skatepark.

Muzeum w Chlewiskach
Museum in Chlewiska
The Museum of Metallurgy and Metal Industry in a historic 19th-century ironworks. Here you can see a unique large furnace fired with charcoal and a rich exhibition of vintage cars and motorcycles.

Poliptyk wieniawski
Wieniawa Polyptych
In the church in Wieniawa, there is one of the most valuable monuments of the region – the Renaissance Polyptych from 1544, attributed to the son of Veit Stoss. It depicts the legend of St. Stanislaus.

Skrzyńsko
Skrzyńsko Sanctuary
The oldest Marian cult center in the Radom region. According to legend, the miraculous image of the Virgin Mary was gifted by Piotr Włostowic in the 12th century. The current crowned image dates back to the 15th century.
